Founded by Matt Logan, Leaf was originally set up to support people through the use of technology within secure establishments. Drawing on extensive experience of business management and web development for a range of high-profile clients the company was founded in 2003 and swiftly became a recognised leading innovator in the provision of solutions to meet the needs of hard to reach learners.

Building on successes providing bespoke software solutions for the criminal justice system, Leaf expanded into hardware and mainstream education and learning software development. Leaf's approved Certified Development Partner and Authorised Education Reseller status with Microsoft coupled with Leaf's close relationship with an Intel Premier Provider has ensured the highest standards in hardware and software provision.

Leaf's expansion in the subsequent years has included a wide range of service provision from project management and bid consultancy for both public and private companies to the provision of "through the gate" transition workers, evaluations and research projects in specialist fields.

The future will see Leaf expanding its client base further into managed services while maintaining the strength of Leaf's e-learning and delivery pedigree.
