Leaf was set up in 2003 to support and promote the use of technology within secure establishments. We provide a range of services from bespoke software delivering interactive learning materials to offender management software and on-site next day network engineering, Leaf has always attempted to provide reliable, robust and cost effective solutions to the problems of using IT in prison establishments encountered by governors, officers, tutors, colleges and prisoners.

 

We have also established relationships with such companies as Microsoft and Intel to ensure that we deliver the best solutions to our clients and participate fully in development programmes to make best use of their research and remain at the forefront of development.

Leaf has been approved as a Certified Development Partner for Microsoft and is also an Authorised Education Reseller for Microsoft software.

 

Our ultimate goal is to aid those engaged in offender education, training and management to fulfil their role of reducing the likelihood of re-offending for those in their care. Integral to this aim is the use of IT to support education, training and employment to create successful resettlement plans to ensure a well-structured transition through custody and out into the community.

To achieve these aims Leaf has worked with prison establishments, voluntary agencies and probation offices nationwide to develop a range of systems to meet the identified IT infrastructure and software needs of this specialist environment.

More recently the Leaf Group has expanded into managed service work for a diverse range of companies providing web-content management, bid consultancy and mentoring. It is our vision to expand Leaf’s innovative approach to a wider service market.
