Over the past years, Leaf has undertaken a number of evaluations for a variety of clients. From nationally funded government agencies to regionall charities, Leaf has provided field researchers and specialist authors to complete evaluations which have been published in the national press. Our experienced evaluation team is led by Prof. David Wilson and Leaf CEO Matt Logan.
David Wilson is a Senior Academic and the Professor of Criminology at the Centre for Criminal Justice Policy and Research at the University of Central England in Birmingham, where he runs the postgraduate programme in Criminal Justice. Prior to taking up his academic appointment in September 1997, David was Senior Policy Advisor to the Prison Reform Trust, and between October 1983-April 1997 was a Prison Governor. His recent television appearences include Newsnight, Election Unspun, and Tonight with Trevor MacDonald. His latest documentary, Too Young to Die, was screened in January.
Leaf CEO Matt Logan was a former BBC journalist
and has worked on a variety of television and radio programmes over the past 15 years and regularly speaks at conferences on evaluation work undertaken by Leaf.

Leaf were appointed , by UFI Limited, to undertake a full evaluation of the LearnDirect ESF Pathways project in prisons and probation. The report from this project was published in spring of 2007 and authored by Leaf CEO Matt Logan and Professor David Wilson, Professor of Criminology at the University of Central England.
